A 1923 landmark in Omaha’s Benson Arts District, the Benson Theatre blends historic character with modern versatility. Originally a vaudeville and movie house, this community gem was beautifully restored in 2022 as a vibrant event venue while preserving its vintage marquee, arched ceiling, and Art Deco charm.

Featuring a flexible open layout, built-in stage, professional lighting and sound, and comfortable seating options. With seating for up to 168 guests or 300 cocktail-style, the space adapts easily for formal dinners, corporate gatherings, or creative events.

Conveniently located in the heart of Benson’s lively entertainment district, it offers nearby dining, nightlife, and picturesque photo opportunities beneath the theatre’s glowing marquee.

    Closing Time: 12:00 AM

    The 6-hour rental covers your official event time. Early access for decorating, vendor setup, or pre-event photos can be coordinated with your event manager to ensure a smooth day-of timeline.

    Cocktail-Style: Up to 300 guests

    • $10 per person food minimum

    Event Guidelines & Payment Info:

    • Events must end by 12:00 AM

    • A booking deposit and signed rental agreement are required to secure your date

    • Final guest count is due 14 days prior to your event

    • Final payment is due 5–7 days before your event

    • Decorating time and access must be coordinated in advance with the event manager - see rental agreement for additional info

    With over 60 years of experience and more than 25,000 events under our belt, we’ve earned a reputation for making every event unforgettable! We know food is one of the biggest decisions (and investments) of any gathering, and our team is here to make it stress-free.

    From elegant plated dinners to casual buffets, our flexible menu options are designed to fit your vision and your budget — all while delivering exceptional flavor, stunning presentation, and seamless service.

  • All alcohol must be provided and served by our in-house team at Abraham Catering. Outside alcohol is not permitted due to licensing requirements.

    We offer a variety of flexible bar packages to suit your event style and budget:

    • Beer, Wine & Soda Bar – $21 per person

    • Full Standard Open Bar – $23 per person

    • Full Premium Open Bar –$26 per person

    • Cash Bar Service – Available with a $75 license fee

    • Customized Bar Options – Available upon request

    Prefer table service for wine or champagne? We offer dinner wine and sparkling options priced by the bottle. Our house champagne, Wycliff Brut, is available for $15 per bottle. Looking for something specific? Let us know what you like, and we’ll provide a custom quote.
